Bristol C&D will extend its Poly-B high base plus polycarbonate product line with the introduction of a 13 base single vision semi-finished aspheric lens. Poly-B lenses are available in 70mm single vision, in base curves of 9.00, 11.00, and now, 13.00. Poly-B FT-28 bifocals are 70mm and offered in 9.00 and 11.00 base with an add range of +2.00 to +4.00. The 13 base bifocal is expected to hit the market Summer of 2010.

Shamir Autograph FreeFrame – the latest addition to the Shamir Autograph family – gives customers unparalleled freedom. Developed to cover everyday’s needs to perfection: Very easy to clean, water resistant and best antistatic properties.
Seiko Superior
New improved Seiko Neo design – Seiko Superior. Available with 9 corridor lengths in 1 mm steps so that the lenses can be optimised for every patient, e.g. even pantoscopic tilt is respected for ordering and measured by optician. Three indicies 1.74, 1.67 and 1.60 available in 3 designs, they will be available with the new Seiko SuperResistantCoat as an optional extra.

Super Power Shield coating
The great advantage of this production in Belgium is that the delivery time becomes shorter. The Super Power Shield coating (SPS) is a coating offering the lens a high scratch-resistance which is almost similar to the scratch-resistance of a mineral lens. Its advanced oleo- and hydrophobic property makes the lens easy to clean. The new cushion layer between the hard coat and the fluoride compound prevents edging cracks.
The Super Power Shield coating offers outstanding resistance and durability and is created by Tokai’s latest thin film technology. This high tech coating is available on all our high index lenses.
Resonas, when neuroscience and optics come together!
Tokai is the first lens manufacturer to have developed a progressive design based upon the results of a neurological eyetest.
Thanks to the results of this special neurological monitoring, Tokai was able to adjust the design of a progressive lens, which is perceived as pleasant by the brain of the wearer, thus creating a smoother adaptation to the lens.
Result: the Tokai Resonas. The aberration zones of this progressive lens with Back Surface design have been pushed to the far regions of near and far vision, resulting into a smoother transition of the power. Moreover, a softer design is obtained through power compensation.
A new flexible inset design makes accurate use of both individual eye characteristics and viewing distance, improving binocular near vision from 25 to 80 cm.
TOKAI 1.76 index lens
The great advantage of this production in Belgium is that the delivery time becomes shorter. This revolutionary lens is up to 47% thinner than a conventional CR39 lens. It comes with an UV400nm filter and offers outstanding resistance and durability.
